Justin Moore has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Justin started their career as an Intern at Hewlett-Packard, where they focused on data center workload placement algorithms. Following that, they joined Duke University as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they conducted research on distributed systems and automated management.
In 2006, Justin joined Google as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned into the role of Software Engineering Manager. During their tenure at Google, they played a crucial role in making civic information accessible and useful through various initiatives. Justin led efforts to create data standards for election information and worked on improving the user experience on Google Search.
In 2008, Justin founded Tempo-Free Gridiron, a sports analytics website that focused on college football and Formula One. The website became known for publishing real-time in-game win probabilities for all games. Justin's work on Tempo-Free Gridiron also involved writing articles for FiveThirtyEight.
Most recently, Justin joined Antithesis as a Senior Engineer in 2023.
Justin Moore completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Virginia from 1996 to 2000. Justin then pursued further education at Duke University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from 2000 to 2006.
