Art Gillespie is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in the engineering and management of software and hardware platforms. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Odyssey since November 2023, Art previously held multiple senior engineering management roles at Cruise from March 2021 to November 2023, overseeing projects related to autonomous vehicle remote platforms and route planning. Prior to that, Art was a Senior Engineering Manager at Voyage, leading the development of the "Telessist" teleoperations solution. Art has also held leadership positions at trainify.io as CEO and Udacity as Director of Engineering, where significant growth in engineering teams was achieved. Art’s earlier career includes roles at Google, Nest Labs, and Origami Labs, with a strong focus on the development of customer-facing applications for innovative products. Educational background includes studies at Belmont University and Murray State University.
