Akhilesh Kumar is a highly experienced Senior Principal R&D Engineer at ANSYS, Inc., where responsibilities include leading AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for advanced Electronic Design Automation Software applications and overseeing the design and development of large-scale software. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Engineer at ST Microelectronics, focusing on modeling and simulation in Verilog and VHDL for IP blocks, and as a Software Engineer at Aricent, developing Voice Over IP software protocols in C. Akhilesh Kumar holds a PhD and MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, as well as a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
