Eddy Bajic is a Full Professor in Industrial Computer Sciences and Automation Sciences at Université de Lorraine, where Eddy has served since October 1998. Eddy holds a PhD in Automatic Control and Computer Engineering and became a Research Director in 1995. Eddy Bajic is also the Mission Head for Education Development in Defence and National Security at Université de Lorraine, promoting defense education and awareness. As a Research Director at CRAN, Bajic specializes in RFID, WSN, and IoT technologies, and serves on various committees, including AFNOR's CN IoT, the European Commission as an Independent Scientific Expert, and the French National Research Agency as a Scientific Expert. Eddy's contributions extend to the ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 41 standards committee and HCERES, where Eddy evaluates higher education and research institutions. Additionally, Eddy Bajic was the Head of the Institute of Technology at IUT Nancy-Brabois from October 2009 to September 2014, overseeing a large team and multiple academic programs.
