John Porter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John started their career as a Systems Analyst at GE Aerospace/Martin Marietta in 1991. John then worked at Towers Perrin as a Software Architect/Developer and later as the Chief Architect of TPAS. In 2003, they joined Anexinet as the J2EE Practice Director, where they were responsible for client delivery and securing new business. At Bluenog, they served as the Practice Director, Vice President of Product Management, and Technical Sales Director. John was involved in various tasks such as conducting technology assessments, analyzing the competitive landscape, and maintaining product roadmaps. John also worked at Vivisimo as a Senior Solution Consultant before it was acquired by IBM. At IBM, they held the position of Senior Solution Consultant in Cognitive Computing and later became the Senior Solution Consultant in Cognitive Computing & Enterprise Search. John then worked at Author-it Software Corporation as the Solution Director in the Life Sciences industry. John played a key role in developing demonstrations, shaping website content, and mentoring the sales and pre-sales team. John'smost recent role is at Coveo as a Solution Engineer, where they were responsible for technical selling of enterprise search and recommendation product suite. John is currently working as the Sr. Director of Global Solution Engineering at Anodot, where they execute all aspects of the enterprise pre-sales process and implemented a solution selling methodology.

John Porter has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Villanova University. John also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, as well as another Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained the certification of FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation in May 2023.
