Saba Aleem has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. They have held various leadership roles in different companies.

In 1999, Saba Aleem started their career at PwC, where they worked in the audit department until 2003.

From 2003 to 2015, Aleem worked at Abbott, starting as a finance employee and progressing through various roles. They served as a Division FP&A Manager, Sr. Finance Manager - Research & Development, and Assistant Controller, Division Reporting & Compliance.

In 2015, Aleem joined Aduro Biotech as the Corporate Controller. They later became the Executive Director of Finance and then the Vice President of Finance until 2019.

Since 2019, Aleem has been working at Annexon Biosciences. They started as the Vice President, Controller and then became the Vice President of Finance. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Finance at the company.

Saba Aleem earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Finance/Accounting from the University of Toronto from 1996 to 2000. Following that, Saba pursued further education and obtained a Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, completing this program in 2001. Additionally, Saba received a CPA certification from AICPA in 2002.
