Tara Jacobs is a seasoned events professional with extensive experience in managing large-scale events and fundraising initiatives. Currently serving as the Director of Events at Annex Business Media since February 2011, Tara has held various roles within the company, including Events Manager and Account Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as the Events & Fundraising Manager at Hockey Helps the Homeless, where Tara coordinated logistics for fundraising hockey games benefiting homeless support agencies. Additionally, Tara has a background in stewardship at the Richard Ivey School of Business, where dedicated efforts focused on major gift management, and previously managed over 200 events at Queen's University. Tara's educational qualifications include a Certificate in Business Skills for Managers from Schulich School of Business and dual degrees in English and History from Queen's University.
