Laurel Nelson was a receptionist/admissions assistant at Jamestown Hospital from September 1977 to July 1992. Laurel is currently a board member at Anne Carlsen Center.

Laurel Nelson began their educational career by earning their high school diploma from Jamestown High School. Laurel then completed an associate's degree in business administration from Bismarck Junior College.
