Ashley Gellings is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in early childhood and special education. Currently serving as a Preschool/Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at Ankeny Community School District since August 2022, Ashley collaborates with a pod team for instruction and develops IEPs with Heartland AEA staff. Previous roles include Preschool Teacher at Newton Community School District, Preschool Educational Assistant at Ames Community School District, and various positions in childcare settings. Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Northwestern College, a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and an Associate degree in Professional Education from Highland Community College.
