Waheedath Murarsheed currently serves as the Vice President of Disability Services at Anixter Center, a position held since February 2023, following a prior role as Director of Community Resources and Supports. In this capacity, Waheedath oversees Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals who provide community supports to individuals with intellectual disabilities, focusing on implementing best practices and evidence-based services. Previous experience includes roles at UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago as a Case Manager / Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional, and at Envision Unlimited as Assistant Program Director / QIDP, where Waheedath managed various programs and supervised teams supporting individuals with disabilities. Waheedath's extensive career also includes case management positions at Community Service Options, Inc., and Central Plaza Rehabilitation Home. An educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
