Amanda Howell is an experienced attorney currently serving as the Managing Attorney at the Animal Legal Defense Fund since October 2017, previously holding the position of Senior Staff Attorney. Prior experience includes work as an Attorney at Stanley Law Group from May 2015 to September 2017, and as the Assistant Director of Litigation at the Center for Science in the Public Interest from January 2012 to May 2015, where responsibilities included securing standing in class action litigation and contributing to litigation strategy. Earlier roles featured a legal internship with the Massachusetts House Committee on Global Warming and Climate Change as well as positions at the National Consumer Law Center and an international teaching role with World Teach in Guyana. Howell's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Studies, and Spanish from Northwestern University.
