Shane Freeman currently serves as a Pet Adoption Counselor at Animal Friends, a role held since January 2019. Prior experience includes working as the Lead Customer Intake Coordinator at Conservation Consultants, Inc. from September 2016 to January 2018, where responsibilities focused on the development and coordination of Duquesne Light’s “Smart Comfort” home energy audit program for low-income households. Earlier, Shane worked in customer care at FedEx from September 2006 to May 2012, managing high revenue shipper relationships through package tracking and logistics. Shane holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, earned between 2013 and 2015.
