Jake Andrews has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jake started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Student at Invensys Controls UK Limited, where they gained hands-on experience in product development and testing. After completing their studies, they joined Jaguar Land Rover as a Graduate Design Engineer, working on various projects in different departments, including Air Suspension, Chassis Launch, Chassis Electronics, Vehicle Durability and Robustness, and Global Marketing Strategy and Planning. Jake then progressed to become the Lead Engineer for the Air Supply Unit (ASU) at Jaguar Land Rover, where they successfully designed and delivered a new ASU for the MLA High and MLA Mid vehicle architectures. Currently, they are working at Animal Dynamics Limited as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, responsible for working on their autonomous heavy-lift parafoil vehicle, the STM, as well as leading the Mechanical Design Team.
Jake Andrews attended Exeter College from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained their A Level degree. Jake then went on to the University of Bristol from 2011 to 2015, graduating with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering. Jake also holds additional certification as an Associate Member from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, although the information regarding the month and year of obtaining this certification is not provided.
