Michal Zitek is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Regional Operations at Banyan Tree Group since August 2022. Zitek has held various leadership positions in prominent hotels, including Area General Manager at Angsana Laguna Phuket since October 2017 and Banyan Tree Lang Co from January 2015 to September 2017. Zitek's extensive background also includes serving as General Manager at Imperial Queen's Park Hotel (now Marriott Marquis) and Pan Pacific Bangkok, along with managerial roles at Pan Pacific Singapore, The Regent Kuala Lumpur, Holiday Inn Resort Phi Phi Island, Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders, and Centra Auckland Airport (now Holiday Inn Auckland Airport).
