Silvia Sala has extensive work experience in the photography and media industry. Silvia started their career as a Freelance Photographer in 2016 and has been running their own photography business, Silvia Sala Photography. In 2016, they also joined NUOK, a magazine online, as a Contributor, where they played a key role in the expansion of the virtual editorial team. Their work involved exploring and showcasing lesser-known locations to the readers. This role lasted until December 2019. Currently, Silvia Sala works as an Executive Assistant at The Freelens, starting from June 2022.

Silvia Sala earned a Bachelor's degree in Languages, Cultures and Societies of Oriental Asia and Mediterranean Africa from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. Silvia attended the university from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, Silvia completed a Linguistic Diploma in European Languages and Literature from Liceo Linguistico G. Falcone. Silvia studied at the institution from 2006 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Silvia obtained a Travel Writing Course certificate from Scuola Holden in September 2018. Additionally, they achieved the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) - N3 Level certificate from The Japan Foundation in January 2014.
