Stefano Maccaferri is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the trainborne signalling systems sector. Currently serving as the Technical Director and Product Life Manager at AngelStar since November 2019, Stefano oversees the Product Life Management of Trainborne Signalling Systems. Prior to this role, Stefano spent 20 years at Alstom, where positions included System Group Leader and Project Engineering Manager, focusing on the development of signalling systems based on ERTMS and SCMT for high-speed trains like AGV575 and ETR500. Stefano's career also encompasses roles as T&C and Homologation Manager and Test & Commissioning Engineer, along with being a System Engineer for Italian High-Speed lines. Stefano earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna in 1999.
