Yingying Chen is a skilled software engineer currently working at Waymo since December 2022, focusing on building an evaluation platform for the Planner Eval team. Prior to Waymo, Yingying served as Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Yelp from October 2019 to December 2022, leading the Traffic Quality team within the Trust & Safety group, where contributions included developing a real-time bot detection platform and a user-generated content moderation platform. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at Berkeley DeepDrive, working on autonomous vehicle projects and developing the Scalabel annotation platform, as well as co-founding Jianglin Technologies Co., a startup that created SaaS software for fashion designers. Yingying holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, along with graduate coursework in Deep Generative Models from Stanford University.
