Matt Fleming currently serves as a Partner and Deputy General Counsel for Bio+Health at Andreessen Horowitz, a position held since March 2020. Prior to this role, Matt was a Partner and Associate General Counsel at the same firm, and previously worked as an Associate at Cooley LLP from November 2012 to March 2020. At Cooley LLP, Matt's practice focused on general corporate and securities law, representing both public and private companies in various matters including formation, financing, SEC compliance, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Matt holds a Juris Doctor degree in Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Columbia Law School (2010-2012) and a Bachelor's Degree from Arizona State University (2003-2007).
