Cynthia D. Tucker has a diverse work experience. Cynthia D. started their career as a Store Manager for an upscale gift basket store, where they introduced direct sales and corporate accounts to increase profitability. Cynthia D. then worked as a Customer Service and Sales Representative at WorldCom, achieving top sales and winning sales competitions multiple times. After that, they joined BMG Music as a Sales and Marketing Representative, where they were responsible for maximizing sales and maintaining inventory of hip hop artists. Cynthia D. then worked at Trans World Entertainment as an Assistant Manager, winning various sales contests and promotions. Later, Cynthia joined Walmart and held positions as a Support Manager and Department Head, effectively improving sales and developing marketing materials. At The Home Depot, they started as a Cross-Merchandiser/Vendor Liaison and eventually worked as an Inventory Control Specialist. Lastly, they joined Anderson Merchandisers as a Territory Sales Lead, where they supervised and developed associates, managed inventory, and built strong relationships with clients.

Cynthia D. Tucker obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of South Carolina Upstate from 1989 to 1993. Cynthia D. then pursued their Associate of Applied Science degree in Legal Studies at Greenville Technical College from 2005 to 2007.
