Scott Plaxin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Scott started their career in 1998 as a Consultant (Application Development) at CSC, where they worked until 2000. Scott then joined Standard & Poor's as a Systems Analyst in August 2000 and held various roles in the company, including Senior Systems Analyst and Systems Manager, until September 2007. From September 2007, Scott worked at Anchorage Capital, where they started as a Software Engineer and gradually progressed to Vice President - Software Engineering, Director - Software Engineering, Managing Director - Software Engineering, and finally, Chief Technology Officer, their current role.

Scott Plaxin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Cornell University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
