Iris Liu began their work experience in 2017 as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst at Citi. In 2018, they became a Sales and Trading Analyst at the same company, a role they held until September 2020. From September 2020 to March 2022, Iris worked as a CLO Primary Associate at Citi. In March 2022, they joined Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C. as a Vice President.

Iris Liu attended NYU Stern School of Business from 2014 to 2018. Iris obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance and Statistics.
