Fredrik Heintz is a prominent academic in the field of computer science with extensive experience at Linköping University since April 2000, where roles include Professor, Docent, Associate Professor, Researcher, and Research Engineer. As of November 2022, Fredrik serves as Professor Chair for Sweden-Brazil in AI and Autonomous Systems at CISB. Contributions to the European Commission as an Expert Member of the High-Level Expert Group on Artificial Intelligence began in June 2018, focusing on AI policy and ethical issues. Fredrik also holds the position of Director of Graduate School for the Wallenberg Autonomous Systems and Software Program and has led the Swedish AI Society as President since May 2010.
