Penny Hens Honea has an extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Penny started their career in 1986 as a General Manager at Jim Powell Tours, where they were responsible for trip planning and coordinating all aspects of tours for large groups. In 1995, they joined Gates Arrow Distributing and later moved to Arrow Electronics, where they served as a Sales Manager, Sales Representative, and Product Champion. Penny excelled in motivating and coaching sales teams, setting sales quotas, and building relationships with reseller accounts.

In 2002, Penny joined Catalyst Telecom and subsequently ScanSource, where they held various positions, including ERP Business Analyst and Director of Business Development. Penny then transitioned into sales enablement and support roles, rising to the position of Vice President at Scansource. In these positions, Penny evaluated sales teams, implemented change management, and provided training and support to sales and leadership teams. Penny also became an Aslan Certified Sales Trainer and Coach, as well as a SAP super-user.

In 2020, Penny took on the role of President at Pacific Mills Training Partners, where they specialized in B2B sales thought leadership, assessing, planning, measuring, and providing training and team development. Additionally, they delivered sales leadership and individual contributor training using the Aslan platform.

Currently, Penny is working as the Vice President of Sales Enablement at ANC Group, where they are responsible for sales enablement and supporting sales efforts.

Penny Hens Honea graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clemson University in 1992. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Greenville Technical College in 1990. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained HPE Sales Certified - Aruba Products and Solutions from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in May 2021. Penny also holds certifications as an Aslan Certified Reseller, Aslan Master Trainer, and Aslan Master Coach from ASLAN Training and Development, obtained in various years.
