Xabi Uribe-Etxebarria is the Founder and CEO of Sherpa.ai, a role held since January 2012. In addition to leading Sherpa.ai, Xabi serves as a mentor at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, focusing on entrepreneurship. As cofounder of BestFarmers.eco since 2018, Xabi has also been the Founder and Chairman of ANBOTO and Web Summit since 2008. Previous roles include CTO and Deputy Director at GEINSA from 2007 to 2009, and CEO of Intelan (Metalingua) within the GEINSA Group from 2001 to 2009. Xabi holds multiple degrees including an MBI in International Business from Deusto Business School and an MSc in Industrial Management Engineering from the University of Deusto, along with various additional educational achievements from institutions such as Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management.
