Andreas Werner is a highly experienced biochemist with a robust background in research and development. Current position as Senior Biochemist at Anavo Therapeutics GmbH began in February 2022. Previously, served as Senior Scientist in Downstream Processing at Celonic Group from October 2020 to February 2022, and held the role of Senior Biomedical Curator at Molecular Health GmbH from April 2017 to August 2019. Extensive experience includes project leadership as a Senior Scientist at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from January 2009 to November 2016, and several postdoctoral positions at renowned institutions including Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Institut Pasteur in Paris, and the Max Planck Research Unit for Enzymology of Protein Folding.
