Payne Wheat is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in web development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Tech Lead and Full Stack Web Developer at Analyte Health since February 2020, Payne previously operated as a self-employed Web Developer, focusing on full-stack development for small businesses and nonprofits from 2014 to 2020. Co-founding Bellwether, a digital consulting agency, from 2016 to 2018, Payne played a key role in engineering web applications and CMS plugins tailored to client needs. Earlier experience includes managing store operations and personnel at Leslie's Poolmart, Inc. from 2008 to 2014. Payne holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston and an Associate of Arts from Wharton County Junior College.
