Damian Finnerty is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Xperi Inc. since December 2019. Previously, roles included Director of Engineering focusing on App Studio and leadership in Core Machine Learning. Prior experience includes Senior Manager of the Artificial Intelligence Team at Jaguar Land Rover and various positions at Intel Corporation, ranging from System-on-Chip/Systems Architect to Technical Lead for the Quark X1000 SOC. Career began as an IC Design Engineer at Silicon and Software Systems. Damian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Dublin City University, an MSc in Computer Science with a focus on Data Analytics from the University of Galway, and a Diploma in Electronic Engineering from Technological University Dublin, complemented by a Self Driving Car Nanodegree from Udacity.
