Shawn Miller is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership, investigations, and insurance. Currently serving as the AMVETS Post Commander at AMVETS National Headquarters since April 2023, Shawn also operates Miller Mid-America Insurance Agency, specializing in commercial, personal, and life insurance policies, and holds a license in Illinois. Prior experience includes ownership of an Allstate agency, management of a Walgreens store overseeing pharmacy and operations, and investigative roles within the Office of Executive Inspector General for the Agencies of the Illinois Governor, where Shawn led high-profile investigations. A veteran of the United States Air Force, Shawn held several key positions, including Regional Director and Superintendent, directing felony-level investigations and collaborating with various agencies at national and international levels. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Bellevue University and multiple associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force.
