Sina Khorsand has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and research. They started their career as a Lab Assistant at BitConcepts Engineering, where they were responsible for preparing reagents and solutions, as well as adhering to strict company policies and protocols.

Following this, Sina worked as a Research Assistant at U.C Santa Cruz, where they performed various tasks including cloning genes of interest, generating recombinant plasmids, and culturing cell lines. They also gained experience in protein purification and analysis using techniques such as His-Tag, GST, and size exclusion chromatography.

Sina then joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Lab Technician, working on the Ion Torrent R&D platform. Their responsibilities included setting up genome machines, troubleshooting sequencing equipment, and analyzing sequencing results to improve workflow and instrument setup.

Moving on, Sina worked at the McCormick Lab in UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center as a Staff Research Associate II. Their primary responsibilities include developing and executing screening assays to discover novel bi-specific T-cell engagers, as well as generating and producing proteins and protein conjugates using chromatographic techniques.

Sina Khorsand completed a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz between 2012 and 2014.
