Gaurangkumar Dixit

Gaurangkumar Dixit has extensive work experience in the dairy industry. Gaurangkumar started their career at Sabar Dairy in 1999, where they served as Sr. Superintendent (Mktg.) and was responsible for sales, distribution, and managing operations of Amul Milk and Milk Products in Sabarkantha District. Gaurangkumar also looked after the Milk Product Export activities.

Later, they joined Amul (GCMMF) in 2005 as a Group Product Manager (MKTG). In this role, they played a crucial role in marketing activities for Amul Fresh Products across India, including market planning, product launch, brand building, market promotion, and competitive analysis. Gaurangkumar also implemented market development initiatives, tracked product sales, and conducted market research.

Gaurangkumar then moved up to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Junagadh Union from 2011 to 2014. Here, they established Junagadh District Co-operative Milk Producers Ltd. and successfully set up chilling centers. Gaurangkumar achieved a daily milk collection of 2 lakh liters.

After that, they took on the role of State Head for Telangana at Amul (GCMMF) in 2014. In this capacity, they led the sales and distribution of Amul milk and milk products in Telangana, including the successful launch of Amul Fresh Products in Hyderabad. Within 30 days of the milk launch, they achieved a sales volume of 1 lakh liters per day.

Gaurangkumar then served as Head (HR & Administration) at Amul (GCMMF) from 2021 to 2023, before transitioning to their current position as Head (HoReCa & Edible Oil Business + HR) at GCMMF (Amul).

Overall, Gaurangkumar Dixit has demonstrated their expertise in various aspects of the dairy industry, including marketing, sales, distribution, and administrative roles.

Gaurangkumar Dixit pursued their education in a chronological order. From 1987 to 1992, they attended Gujarat Agricultural University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Dairy Technology, specializing in Dairy Science. Following this, from 1997 to 1999, Gaurangkumar attended the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), where they obtained their Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) with a focus on Management.
