Leisha Goel is an experienced auditor currently working at Amtrak OIG since June 2023. Previously, Leisha held positions as a Government Affairs & Strategic Communication Intern at Finsbury Glover Hering and as a Resource Development Intern at Save the Children US, where responsibilities included research and corporate account management. Leisha also served as an Administrative Assistant at The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Education and Human Development, managing inquiries and assisting with various projects. As a Global Volunteer with AIESEC, Leisha collaborated to create educational plans and instruct lessons for underprivileged children. Leisha completed a Master of Public Policy at The George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Public Policy and Political Communication from The George Washington University. Prior education includes a high school diploma from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
