Heather B. is a seasoned audit professional with extensive experience in performance audits and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Audit Manager at Amtrak OIG since September 2015, Heather has led numerous independent audits aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness, notably managing an audit on the Gateway Program. Prior experience includes a tenure at Helmes&Co LLC, where Heather acted as Project Manager for an audit resulting in a $171 million settlement for a major public utility. Earlier roles at CRA International involved managing global teams on contract evaluations for a significant LNG project, as well as providing advisory services for federal agency modernization efforts. Heather holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University.
