Steven van Teeseling is an experienced professional in the art and cultural sector, currently serving as the Directeur of the Luther Museum since December 2023. With a notable academic background that includes a Master in Contemporary Art History from the University of Amsterdam, and a BA in Cultural Management from the Amsterdam School of the Arts, Steven has co-owned the plancius art collection since 2006, supporting artists through a private initiative. Additional roles include Chair of the Board at Extra Extra Magazine and member of the Supervisory Board at P/////AKT, alongside advisory positions with the Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, the Nijmegen Cultural Awards Committee, and the Zwolle cultural infrastructure committee. Recent board involvement includes the Lutherhof Amsterdam and the Wim de Haan Foundation, demonstrating a commitment to art, heritage, and cultural initiatives.
