Prisca Leferink is a Business Developer at VU University Medical Center - Amsterdam Neuroscience since September 2018, focusing on establishing partnerships with the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to this role, Prisca completed a PhD project at VUmc from January 2013 to May 2019, concentrating on stem cell biology in pediatric neurology, specifically for Vanishing White Matter disease. This involved reprogramming patient and control fibroblasts into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to model the disease and explore transplantation. Earlier experience includes serving as a (Senior) Technician in Gene Expression at ServiceXS from July 2009 to January 2012, where responsibilities included executing gene expression projects and maintaining Affymetrix platforms. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Neurowetenschap from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Biologie from Leiden University.
