Patrick Ellard, P.Eng, currently serves as the Manager of Engineering and Equipment Reliability at Amsted Rail since May 2023. Previously, Patrick held the role of Maintenance Manager at Maple Leaf Foods Inc, overseeing maintenance operations at the Bacon Centre of Excellence and managing a team of 60 personnel. Key achievements include implementing a maintenance program for a new bacon facility and enhancing reliability through best practices. Earlier experience includes various roles at Resolute Forest Products, focusing on reliability engineering and preventive maintenance, as well as consultancy at BDO related to SR&ED tax incentives. Patrick began a career in survey and crew management at J.D. Barnes Limited while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University.
