Anne Sams has held various roles in finance, accounting, and administration throughout their career. Starting with their current position as Senior Accountant at FirstBank, they previously served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at AMSEnergy Corp and Chief Financial Officer at Citizens Savings Bank and Trust Company. Prior to that, they worked as Controller/HR Manager at Peoples State Bank of Commerce, Processor at Countrywide Home Loans, Administrative Assistant to the Division Manager at MAPCO Express, Business Controller/Senior Loan Processor at Five Star Mortgage, LLC. Anne also served at National Linen Services as Human Resource/Administrative Manager and as Business Controller at Wright Medical Technology/Kilgrow & Associates. Anne began their career as Assistant Vice President of Administration at Willis Corroon Administrative Services.

Anne Sams attended Knoxville Catholic High School from 1973 to 1977. Anne then went on to Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 1978 to 1981 where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management.
