Trevor Toll has a diverse work experience in the field of materials science and engineering. Trevor worked as a Lead Engineer for Analysis and Measurement Services (AMS) Corporation, where they specialized in testing and analyzing industrial polymer components. Trevor also founded the Materials Testing Laboratory at AMS and supported various commercial and research projects through laboratory testing and data analysis. Prior to that, Trevor worked as a Research Engineer at AMS, focusing on evaluating the long-term performance of nuclear power plant components made from polymeric, composite, and metallic materials. Trevor served as a project manager for a DOE-funded project aimed at developing an online monitoring system for Small Modular Reactor sensors and components.

Earlier in their career, Trevor worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington Materials Science & Engineering department, where they conducted research on thermoelectric and Li-ion battery characterization. Trevor also worked as a DOE HERE Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, testing the thermal diffusivity of thermal barrier coatings, and as a Laboratory Intern at the Tickle College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee, focusing on projects related to Bulk-Metallic Glass and thin-film processing.

Trevor Toll obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Washington in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Science & Engineering at the Tickle College of Engineering at the University of Tennessee in 2012.
