Malcolm Correia is an experienced medical professional specializing in critical care and emergency medicine. Currently serving as a Flight Physician at AMREF Flying Doctors since April 2011, Malcolm works for the largest international air ambulance services provider in the region. In addition, Malcolm holds the position of Senior Registrar and Team Leader for the Critical Care Unit at The Nairobi Hospital since January 2018. Previous roles include Senior House Officer and Medical Officer positions at various hospitals, including The Nairobi Hospital and Embu Provincial General Hospital. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Nairobi, a Master's of Medicine in Internal Medicine, and a Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine from Medvarsity and the East Central and Southern Africa College of Physicians.
