Ibrahima Kouma is a seasoned professional in public health and veterinary services, currently serving as a Consultant in Animal Health and Wellbeing at HEKA Public Health Services since September 2023. Ibrahima is a founding member and Outreach Advisor at the One Health in Action Initiative, and leads the AMR Working Group since August 2022. Ibrahima also holds the position of Chef de Poste of Livestock, Fisheries, and Aquaculture at the Ministère des Ressources Animales et Halieutiques since April 2022, and serves as an Ambassador for AMR Insights, which focuses on reducing antimicrobial resistance globally. As the founder of HealthComSocMed in Côte d'Ivoire, Ibrahima aims to enhance the public health system in Côte d'Ivoire and Africa. Ibrahima's expertise extends to serving as an AMR Champion at React Africa and Secretary General of the Groupement Technique Vétérinaire de la Côte d'Ivoire, specializing in capacity building for veterinary professionals. Previous experience includes roles as a Veterinary Technician and Agricultural Advisor, complemented by a strong academic background in tropical and Mediterranean agronomy and veterinary sciences.
