Afsana Sabrin, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Scientist and Biotherapeutic Program Lead at EvolveImmune Therapeutics since May 2023 and has been an Ambassador at AMR Insights since June 2020. From April 2021 to April 2023, Afsana worked as a Research Scientist and Team Lead in Clinical Biomarker and Drug Discovery in Neurodegeneration at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where notable projects included the generation of cellular models for Alzheimer's disease and the use of CRISPR/Cas9 for gene editing. Previous experiences include a Research Fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, focusing on oncology and macromolecular therapeutics, and early research positions at Louisiana State University and ICDDR,B. Afsana obtained a PhD in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Dhaka.
