Derrick Tay is a full-stack developer intern at Amplified Industries, Inc., starting in January 2024, with a strong background in software development and teaching. Previous experience includes roles as a full-stack developer intern at TheMatrix.SG Pte. Ltd., where Derrick designed API endpoints and engineered automated tasks, and as a software developer at Elitely Group, leading database management and user authentication implementation. Derrick has also served as a Python tutor, successfully instructing over 30 students and designing personalized curricula. Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, Derrick's skill set includes technical documentation, CI/CD pipeline integration, caching strategies, and comprehensive testing practices.
