Alex Wakefield has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2014, they worked as a Pre-construction Co-op at Turner Construction Company, where they were responsible for creating financial reports and leading a team in developing budgets and schedules. From 2015 to 2016, Alex served as the CoFounder & COO of Parking Grid Technologies, a micro-startup that developed a Parking Availability System and generated significant revenue. They also had various roles at National Instruments, including Sales Engineer and Applications Engineer, where they focused on driving revenue and working on product marketing projects.

In 2017, Alex joined Dropbox as a Sales Development Enterprise and later transitioned to the role of Customer Success Growth Manager. They eventually became the Head of Sales Strategy, AMER, leading the Sales Strategy team and driving GTM transformations. Additionally, Alex launched Dropbox's first Sales Analytics team during their tenure.

In 2021, they joined MakerSights as the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations before moving to Goody as a RevOps Consultant the following year. They also worked as a Strategy & Ops Consultant at an undisclosed company before joining their current role as the Head of Revenue Strategy & Operations at Amplemarket in March 2022.
