Mike Ong has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Mike began their career as a Finance Intern at Cleveland Clinic in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Accounting Intern at DOmedia, where they contributed to changing the out-of-home media buying and selling process.

In 2017, Mike worked as a Core Assurance Intern at PwC, a leading accounting firm known for its global network and commitment to client success.

In 2018, Mike held multiple roles simultaneously. Mike worked as a Partnerships Operations professional at Beam Dental, a dental benefits company that incorporated dental hygiene behavior into their coverage policies. Mike also served as a Finance & Accounting Associate at Legends of Learning, an education technology company dedicated to creating engaging learning experiences through curriculum-based games. Additionally, Mike joined Venture For America as a Fellow, where they received training and worked at a startup in an emerging city for two years, gaining hands-on experience in building a business.

Mike continued to expand their skills and knowledge in 2019 when they became a Business Analyst & Account Manager at Sema, a company that provided insights on code, development processes and teams. In 2020, they were promoted to Senior Business Analyst & Account Manager within the same company.

From October 2020 to February 2023, Mike joined PadSplit as a Finance Associate, contributing to the mission of disrupting the affordable housing industry and solving the affordable housing crisis one room at a time.

Most recently, in April 2023, Mike joined Amperity as an Analyst, adding to their repertoire of analytical skills.

Mike Ong attended St. Edward High School, where they earned their High School degree. Mike pursued an International Baccalaureate Diploma as their field of study during this time. After completing high school, they enrolled at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Mike obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from this esteemed institution.
