Daniel Ferguson has a work history that spans over 20 years. Daniel most recently worked at Ampere as a Principal Software Engineer, starting in January 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at Intel for a decade, from 2011 to 2021, as a Software Engineer. In this role, they focused on OS and System Software Engineering, with a specific emphasis on Windows OS internals and Intel microprocessors. Additionally, they worked at Sky Research from 2001 to 2008 as a Software Engineer, specializing in Remote Sensing. During this time, they developed mission-critical Data Acquisition Systems using C++ and C#, and integrated various sensors for government-sponsored environmental remediation projects.

Daniel Ferguson started their education at Portland Community College in 2007, where they pursued general education in Engineering. Daniel then transferred to Portland State University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Embedded Systems.
