Nienke Blokker is an experienced professional in operations management within the engineering sector, currently serving as Manager Operations Control Centre at Ampelmann Operations since April 2016, holding prior positions such as Team Lead for both Operations Control Centre and Operations Improvements, Operations Engineer, and Asset Engineer. Previous experience includes a role as Field Engineer at Schlumberger and an R&D Engineer at Allseas, contributing to the mechanical completion of the topside lift system for the Pioneering Spirit. Nienke holds a Master's degree in Applied Earth Sciences with a specialization in Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences from Delft University of Technology, as well as Bachelor's degrees in Life Science & Technology from both Leiden University and Delft University of Technology. Further education includes participation in the Athens Programme for Safety Engineering at KU Leuven and studies related to Health and Medicine at Mines Paris - PSL.
