Jamieson Colburn has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology industry. Jamieson is currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure at Amount since February 2022. Prior to this, Jamieson worked at Linear Financial Technologies as the Head of DevOps from February 2021 to February 2022.
Before joining Linear Financial Technologies, Jamieson spent a significant time at OnDeck, where they held multiple positions over the years. Jamieson worked as the Director of DevOps from July 2020 to February 2021, as the Senior Lead DevOps Engineer from September 2018 to July 2020, as the Lead DevOps Engineer from January 2017 to September 2018, and initially joined as a DevOps Engineer in February 2016, staying until December 2016.
Prior to OnDeck, Jamieson worked at Blackboard as a DevOps Engineer (OpenStack) from August 2015 to January 2016. Before that, they worked as a Cloud Architect at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science from June 2014 to July 2015.
Earlier in their career, Jamieson worked at Caveo Network Solutions, starting as a Network Engineer from August 2008 to December 2011, and later as a Senior Systems Engineer from June 2012 to January 2015.
Before entering the technology industry, Jamieson served as a Firefighter at the Groton Fire Department from February 2007 to May 2008.
Jamieson Colburn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Oswego. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in the field of Amazon Web Services (AWS). These certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, and AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty. The certifications were obtained between the years 2015 and 2019.
