Andrea Severin Goins is a seasoned professional in art interpretation and education, currently serving as the Manager of Interpretation and Docents at the Amon Carter Museum since February 2022. With entrepreneurial experience as the Owner/Designer of Sevargo since June 2017, Andrea also held the position of Project Coordinator at Transform 1012 N. Main Street from July 2021 to February 2022. Prior roles include Head of Interpretation and Interpretation Manager at the Dallas Museum of Art from January 2012 to May 2017, and Graduate Research Associate at Mexic-Arte Museum. Earlier experience includes serving as an Art Teacher for the City of Austin and as an Interpretive Guide for the National Park Service. Educational credentials include a B.A. in History of Art and Studio Art from Vanderbilt University and an M.A. in Art Museum Education from the University of Texas at Austin.
