Elishma Noel K. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in social justice and gender rights advocacy. Currently serving as a Gender Rights Campaigner at Amnesty International Canada since February 2023, Elishma has previously worked as a Sexual Violence Counselor at the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region and as a Research Officer at the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner. In addition, Elishma has provided community support and transitional housing assistance at Interim Place and Indus Community Services. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Equity Studies from Brock University, a Master of Arts in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the University of London.
