Azhar Faraaz is an ISO Certified Auditor in Energy Management and a Project Management Professional (PMP) with extensive experience in engineering management, particularly in building operations and maintenance. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at AMLAK Holding since May 2022, Azhar has previously held significant roles including Head of Engineering for venue facilities during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, where oversight of engineering services was critical. Other past positions include Facilities Site Incharge at ENGIE Cofely Mannai and MEP Supervisor at Qatar National Convention Centre, among others, demonstrating a strong background in hard services, asset maintenance, and large-scale project management. Azhar holds an MBA in Operation Management and multiple certificates in energy audits and maintenance best practices, underpinning a solid educational foundation in engineering and management principles.
