Melissa Nix currently serves as the Director of Development and Outreach at Amizade, a position held since January 2019, following their role as Communications and Development Coordinator. Prior professional experience includes working as a Regional Representative and Internationalization Coordinator at Centro Universitario EUSA, as well as a Master's student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Earlier career roles include an Interior Design Associate at Callison, an Academic Advising Intern at John V. Roach Honors College, and multiple internships in design and project management. Melissa Nix holds a Master's degree in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and Art History from Texas Christian University. Additional education includes study at the Lorenzo de' Medici Italian International Institute.
